VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

This is Giancoli Answers with Mr. Dychko. The difference in pressure between the head and the feet will be the density of blood—1.05 times 10 to the 3 kilograms per cubic meter— times g—9.8 newtons per kilogram— times height of the person—1.75 meters— and this gives our answer in pascals and we convert it to millimeters in mercury by going 1 millimeter mercury for every 133 pascals that gives about 135 millimeters of mercury.
