VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

This is Giancoli Answers with Mr. Dychko. The magnitude of the electric field across the Axion membrane will be the magnitude of the voltage across the membrane divided by the membrane thickness so the voltage we are told is 70 milli-volts or negative 70 Milli-volts. We’ll take the absolute value of that which is just positive 70 milli-volts times ten to the minus three volts and divide that by the thickness of 1.0 times ten to the minus eight meters which is 7.0 times ten to the six newtons per Coulomb electric field strength.
