A 120-V rms 60-Hz voltage is to be rectified with a full-wave rectifier as in Fig. 29–32, where R=33 kΩR = 33 \textrm{ k}\Omega, and C=28  μFC = 28 \; \mu \textrm{F}.

  1. Make a rough estimate of the average current.
  2. What happens if C=0.10  μFC = 0.10 \; \mu \textrm{F}? [Hint: See Section 19–6.]
